As Willmott Dixon’s ‘Design Partner of the Year’, SBA was entrusted to assist with the refurbishment of their Hitchin office and help overturn an established ‘silo’ culture. Voted no. 4 in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to work for, WD takes great pride in providing a working environment which promotes collaboration and allows every member of staff to thrive.
The office had to remain fully operational throughout the works and therefore the scope was formulated to avoid disruptive works. The scheme was further tailored to benefit from WD’s supply chain and satisfy the quality, innovation and sustainability values which lie at the core of the business.
Key features:
- Refurbished reception reflecting the brand values with bespoke desk and award display cabinet
- Open plan office with neighborhoods defined by storage and acoustic furniture
- Agile furniture includes sit/stand desking, collaborative work benching, private booths and meeting pods
- Formal and informal meeting rooms and confidential offices
- Kitchen with games area and tiered seating for informal presentations (benefitting from extensive views)
