Saunders Boston Architects was appointed in 2018 to design a replacement for the existing Swanley Leisure Centre that had reached the end of its economic life.
The design allowed for the new centre to be constructed alongside the existing facility ensuring continuity of leisure provision for the community whilst creating a residential development site once the existing building was demolished.
The centre provides an array of facilities to meet the demands of all elements of the community from early years through to senior members. Traditional sports facilities such as swimming pools, badminton courts and a fitness suite sit alongside innovative activities such as TagActive and a toning suite.
Saunders Boston Architects worked with Alliance Leisure, ISG Construction and Everyone Active from inception to completion to deliver this very successful project.
